The distance in a relationship can work against you but it can also work for you. It is going to depend on how much you both want to make it work and if you truly care about each other. You can email several times a day, chat online for hours, use web cams when chatting to feel like you are having a real conversation, send cards or notes in the mail, etc. Don’t hold back your true feelings though. Let her know how special she is to you. Even though you are not together right now, show her that you still cherish all the little things about her. Surround yourself with things that remind you of her.

NO!! It may seem ok for a while, but the separation WILL garanteed get to you. I've been through this. If you met online and want to keep it going like that, it won't work, and if you get crazy and just get married it won't work. You need to somehow get back near each other, or get near for the first time, but permanently. Trust me, long term long distance only leads to hurt and disappointment.

if u keep in touch w/ her everyday or so, and go to see her on the weekends, then it might....depends on how much you really want the relationship to last.
