I am going to make my husband dinner at home. His favorite. Beer-batter shrimp with noodles. I'll give him a nice backscratch and we'll exchange cards & gifts. Hope you have a great Valentine's day too.

Valentines Day is the worst dinner night of the year. Service sucks everywhere, and the lines are ridiculous (even with reservations). All they want to do is sit you down, and quickly move you out. It's crowded and not romantic - most places add tables and jam you all in together like cattle.

What? You mean the dinner that I will be slaving over the hot stove to make? lol! I will be home cooking dinner for my 12 and 9 year old valentines! They requested something special for dinner tonight since it's Valentine's Day...Marsala Chicken by candlelight! And they want their grape juice in the wine glasses! lol! They like to pretend to be grown up I guess? Gotta love 'em!

Nope. VD is just another commercialized holiday. Im going to make dinner at home, watch a movie and be with the 4 things I love: my husband and my 3 dogs. It sounds corny, but everyday should be a day to show someone you love them. It shouldn't just be one day out of the year. Besides someone else got it right, it's a money maker for Hallmark and florists.

Nope. I'm working and then going to an event with family, the husbands got school. We will both be plum tuckered when the day is over - no problem. This is just a Hallmark holiday and we don't really celebrate it.

Even if we order in, we definitely are NOT going out. The restaraunts will be overcrowded and it will not be romantic. Staying at home and either cooking or ordering in so we can be alone, except for the kids LOL.
