Would you ladies honestly enjoy getting chocolates for Valentine's Day?

Just wondering, because it's very cliche and is said to be appreciated, but how many of you would really go for chocolates? If they aren't your thing, then what is a better alternative?

I'm diabetic so no chocolate for me! My fiancee usually gets me fake flowers, a fruit basket (good for you and tastes good!) and a stuffed animal of some kind. I LOVE those!

I enjoy a small box of chocolates, I eat chocolate so rarely that a medium or large box just goes to waste. I think a nice night out or even just a few hours alone to hang out and cuddle is much better.

I love chocolate! But don't go over board, accompany a small box of chocolates or a chocolate bar with something else such as a stuffed animal, flowers, or jewelry.

Chocolates accompanied with a gift( a large or an expensive one) is a good option. But just chocolates... ummm... gives the girl an impression that you are trying to save money and that you lack ideas.

yes. we love chocolate but we are in 2006 now baby. chocolate candy is still the gimme for Valentine's but its time to step the game up and start given us ladies something more.

No, my bf gets me chocolate all the time and I feel so fat!! Flowers or a night out or something shiny would be much better. Be original.

If your into edible gifts go to 1800 flowers they have boxes of cookies and other goodies, really i'd appreciate anything from any guy because its the thought that counts.
